Spring Camp (ALL Incoming and Returning Students)
—> DATE CHANGE! <—
We will be holding our Spring Camps on Saturdays, April
10 17 and 24, from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. All new and returning members are asked to attend. We will be following UIL and AISD safety protocols. We will have fun playing get-to-know-each-other games, learn some new songs and pieces, and begin working on our music for the fall semester. Wear shorts, t-shirt, and tennis shoes, and bring your own snacks and water bottle.
Special invitation to those who are not in band, but are looking for a very active group to join at your new school: we invite you to consider joining the award winning and exciting LASA Colorguard. The colorguard is the dance, flag, sabre, and rifle section of the band. You will be given a chance to learn new skills and learn to become a performer. We are looking for at least 20 top guys and girls who want to be part of this group.
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!!!! Members of the marching band (including colorguard) receive P.E. credit during the fall semester. To discover more about Colorguard, click here.
